Sea Dragons Roar at the 2017 SA State Titles
The SA State Titles (1st and 2nd April 2017) were held over two glorious days at the Ramsey Rowing Course, West Lakes.
Twelve dragon boating clubs took part in this very competitive race day. All teams were out to win- some teams left happy, some not so.
Adelaide Sea Dragons did very well, hopes and team spirit were high. The challenge was set by the team coaches: “We can do this, let’s get out there & smash it!”
Our Senior B women did us proud- they certainly are a force to be reckoned with closely followed by the senior C and the open age categories.
We all celebrated as a team, with medal ceremonies and big slaps of congratulations, nibbles and a few drinks.
We then set our sights on Nationals in Albury/Wodonga 2017.
